Description

The Deep Diver Specialty course is an excellent course designed to teach divers how to plan and execute deep dives to a maximum depth of  130 feet (40 meters).  Deep dives up to 130 feet or 40 meters are referred to as sport diving.

During this course divers will learn and or review:

• • History of Dive Tables and Computers
• • Specialty Equipment for Deep Dives
• • Physics and Physiology for Deep Divers
• • Emergency Proceedures for Deep Divers

Students are required to do one (1) Classroom Session and two - three "Deep" dives with their instructor.

Location

Ivy Lea Campground beach shore dive site, situated along the St. Lawrence River in the Gananoque area.

Diver Pre-Requisites:

• • Open Water Diver with 25 logged dives
   

Cancellation Policy:

All course fees are 100% non refundable.  Course registration and all on-line codes are valid for one year from date of  issue / invoice.

In the unlikely event you have to reschedule your scheduled classroom session, schedule changes are allowed up to seven (7) days prior.  Within seven (7) days a rescheduling fee of $25.00 will be charged. Some exceptions may apply. 
Refunds will ONLY be made if a student withdraws from a course prior to the course start date due to medical reasons, substantiated by a signed medical certificate an administrative fee of $50.00 will apply. If a student withdraws from a course once the course has started no refunds are given – no exceptions.
